SUPPLIER DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES (SDI) – INTRODUCTION
TrioPlus designed a two-stage Business Assessment that identifies the Developmental gaps of organisations and classifies the current stage of business that forms the foundation of a Supplier Development Programme. The assessment is conducted initially with the business owner and a preliminary set of business development findings are noted. The second stage comprises of a technical consultation with an industry expert.
The final assessment report will provide a clear understanding of business and technical development needs. When the developmental gaps within an organisation are clear, a developmental plan can be drafted to assist the entity to advance to a greater level of credibility and sustainability.
TrioPlus classifies two key categories within its Supplier Development Programmes.
1Category 1: Businesses with Supply Chain entrance potential
2Category 2: Businesses that are already part of a large Corporate Supply Chain.
