De Beers Marine Cape Town Growth Programme 2025 | Exhibition and Certification Ceremony

We recently had the privilege of hosting the Exhibition and Certification Ceremony for the De Beers Marine Cape Town Growth Programme 2025.
Over the past seven months, TrioPlus has proudly supported a group of committed entrepreneurs through a structured development journey comprising in-person workshops, online training, and tailored mentoring. The programme was designed to strengthen business foundations, build confidence, and unlock sustainable growth opportunities.

The event itself was a truly special occasion. During the Exhibition, entrepreneurs showcased their businesses, services, and products to De Beers delegates, demonstrating the progress they had made throughout the programme. This was followed by the Certification Ceremony, where participants were honoured with Special Recognition Awards, celebrating their individual effort, resilience, and growth.

Before the programme began, the journey started in an unconventional way. Our team quite literally scoured the streets of Google Maps to identify businesses with potential. What began as a group of strangers soon evolved into a community of friends, collaborators, and partners in growth.

Since the programme commenced in January, we have had the privilege of walking alongside these entrepreneurs, witnessing personal breakthroughs and business milestones. Along the way, they have overcome fears, embraced financial management, strengthened their strategic thinking, elevated their LinkedIn profiles, and stepped confidently into new markets and opportunities.

We are honoured to have partnered with De Beers, whose essential funding enabled entrepreneurs to invest in critical infrastructure, machinery, products, and industry-specific certifications, laying the groundwork for long-term sustainability.

The impact of this programme extends far beyond the individual businesses involved. It has created a ripple effect, positively influencing employees, families, and the broader communities in which these entrepreneurs operate.
